Our boys tennis team will travel to Daniel High School in the first round of the tennis playoffs on Tuesday, April 23rd. Match time is 5:00 pm.

Ms. Lee’s English 1 Honors students presented their research on revolutions throughout history during their study of Animal Farm by George Orwell.





Mrs. Rogers' Native American Studies class visited Cherokee, NC, for a tour of the Museum of the Cherokee People and Oconaluftee Village. It was a day filled with lots of great firsthand information and fun!











Spring practice begins May 6th!



Congratulations to Mrs. Liz Cooksey, the BHS Teacher of the Month. Mrs. Cooksey teaches World History and US History. She is also the SGA sponsor as well as the Varsity Volleyball coach.


Elizabeth Bishop, BHS senior and Miss Spartanburg Teen Volunteer, spoke to Mrs. Ford’s Leadership class about the importance of becoming an organ donor.



We are less than a week away from the Spartanburg County Track and Field Meet at Broome High School!
The meet is scheduled for Tuesday, April 23rd and Wednesday, April 24th. Here's what you need to know:
• Gates will be open on the home and visitor’s side of the stadium. Fans can utilize parking on both sides of the stadium.
• Admission is $5.00 per day. Cash only at the gate.
• Only South Carolina High School League Passes will be accepted.
• We have a clear bag policy – Information attached.
• No animals allowed except for trained service dogs.


AVID students and their families learned more about the program with Broome’s AVID Site Team and enjoyed some sweet treats!

Our JV & Varsity softball games scheduled @ Landrum on April 22 have been moved to Wednesday, April 24. Game times are 5:30 pm & 7:30 pm.

We have added a JV girls soccer game vs. Dorman on Wednesday, April 17. Game time is 5:30 pm.

Congratulations to Jana Calvert who received a Teacher Mini-Grant from Junior League of Spartanburg!


Mrs. Dubois' PLTW course conducted experiments on blood splatter analysis and blood typing for blood left from their simulated crime scene.








Mrs. Calvert's AP Human Geography students enjoyed learning about sustainable farming at the Happy Cow Creamery.

Images, Inc will be on campus Wednesday, April 24th, to take Cap & Gown photos for Graduating Seniors.

We have re-scheduled our home C-Team baseball game vs. Dorman for Monday, April 15 @ 6:00 pm. This game was originally scheduled for Friday, April 12.
